DENVER CHRISTKINDLMARKET

If you haven’t been to Denver’s Christkindlmarket, it’s a must this year! Head down the hill and indulge in a truly magical winter wonderland experience. The Christkindlmarket is an authentic, German- inspired Holiday Market, that transports you in time. The market hosts local and European craft goods and food vendors serving up all the delicious German foods! Enjoy warm food and beverages, browse all the beautiful handmade gifts, and embrace the Market’s gloriously festive energy!

DENVER ZOO LIGHTS

Open through January 5, 2025 Sunday- Thursday  I  5-8PM Friday- Saturday  I  5-9PM  *Closed Christmas Day Denver Zoo

A family favorite, the Denver Zoo lights continue to be at the top of most locals' annual Holiday experience traditions. With 80 acres decorated with over 3 million lights, this festival is astounding. It sparks not only the beauty and joy of the holiday season, but the wild in us all;) 

Head into the park for an early dinner at one of the park’s restaurants and then plan to spend the evening walking through the magical lands. Come out to watch as the magic of George Bailey’s uplifting story is reimagined as a live 1940s radio broadcast! Actors bring this heartwarming story to life through live sound effects, outstanding character performances, and involving the “studio” audience. A timeless tale that will capture your heart and bring you the best of holiday emotions: hope, resilience, community, and love.

EVERGREEN’S NYE ICEFEST

Tuesday I December 31 I 10AM- 6PM  Evergreen Lake  

Celebrate the New Year in mountain style this year! Join Evergreen Park and Rec District and our local Evergreen community at the annual Winter Icefest! Icefest is a daytime, family-friendly event, open to kids of all ages. Enjoy spending the last day of the year skating around the largest Zamboni groomed ice skating rink in North America (bet ya didn’t know that!) with your family and/or celebrating this beautiful mountain community that we are so fortunate to call home. Icefest includes live music, a firepit with marshmallows for toasting, hockey and broomball equipment, ice sculpting demonstrations, and more! So, dress warm and be ready to fill our frozen lake with some warmth and cheer as we close this year out! A perfect way to spend the day before heading home to cozy up and reflect on the last hours of 2024. Cheers!!
