Formerly known as the Sparkle & Shine Business Awards and Gala, this annual event is dedicated to recognizing and honoring the exceptional talent within our local business community.
This year’s gala is set to be truly enchanting, featuring a fully catered dinner with assigned seating, ensuring you can enjoy the night with your group. With delicious, locally prepared food, refreshing drinks, crafted cocktails, and an inspiring atmosphere, you’ll have the chance to mingle with fellow business owners and celebrate the successes of our local stars.

Introducing the Inaugural Denver Jazz Fest: A Celebration of Music, Culture, and Vibes
Calling all jazz lovers! Excited to introduce a new event in the Foothills this year– The Inaugural Denver Jazz Fest. A Celebration of jazz music, rich culture, and glorious vibes. I don’t know about y’all but there is something pretty spectacular about the history of jazz and those wildly enticing beats.
The Denver Jazz Fest is about to hit the Mile High City for the very first time, and it’s going to be an unforgettable celebration of the soulful, toe-tapping, heart-thumping sounds we all love. From Thursday, April 3 to Sunday, April 6, 2025, Denver and Boulder will be buzzing with live performances in venues as diverse as the music itself—think funky breweries, cozy jazz supper clubs, and iconic concert halls.
If you’re a jazz enthusiast, this is your time to shine! The festival will highlight Denver’s vibrant downtown and the historic Five Points district, where the city’s jazz roots run deep. It’s no accident this musical feast lands in April, perfectly timed with Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM) and International Jazz Day. It’s a tribute to America’s only homegrown art form—recognized as a National Historic Treasure—and how it unites people around the world.
Denver jazz legends David Froman and Don Lucoff, with over 70 years of combined passion for the genre, are the masterminds behind this festival. Their mission? To put Denver back on the map as a major player in the jazz scene and honor the city’s rich musical legacy.
Whether you're sipping craft beer at a neighborhood brewery, vibing in an intimate jazz club, or catching a show in a grand hall, Denver Jazz Fest will have it all. So, grab your friends, put on your favorite jazz playlist for the drive, and get ready for a memorable weekend of music!

On the first Friday afternoon of April, Rockies fans will flood downtown Denver, filling Coors Field with that unmistakable energy and excitement that only Spring can bring, and well… baseball. The home opener is more than just a game—it’s a celebration of community, hope, and the start of long summer nights spent watching one of America’s iconic games.
Whether you’re a die-hard Rockies fan or just love the atmosphere of a big game, there’s no better way to welcome spring. From pre-game festivities around the ballpark to grabbing a classic hot dog and cold beer in the stands, it’s all about embracing the moment. You’ll be part of an electric crowd cheering on our boys in purple as they take to the field for another season filled with promise and possibility.

BOOGIE AT THE BEAR

Get Ready to Dance for a Cause: Spring Boogie at the Bear!
It’s time to dust off your dancing shoes, because Boogie Benefits, Inc. is bringing the groove back with the Spring Boogie at the Bear! This awesome fundraiser supports Echo, Evergreen Christian Outreach, and promises to be an evening of live music, dancing, and that incredible community spirit that makes Evergreen so special.
If you haven’t experienced a Boogie yet, you’re in for a treat. Boogie Benefits, a local 501(c)(3) charity, has a mission to bring people together through music while raising money for local nonprofits and causes. Their events, especially the Boogie at the Barn series, are famous for creating unforgettable nights of fun, featuring local bands that know how to get the crowd moving.
Although the historic Alderfer Barn is no longer available, the Boogie has found a new home this year, taking place at the infamous “Little Bear Salon” in the heart of downtown Evergreen. Don’t worry—the music, the dancing, and the heart of the event remain the same… The Bear seems to always show ya a good time;) An infectious atmosphere, paired with delicious food, beer, wine, and most importantly, a chance to make a difference in your community– count me in! And the best part? It’s all run by volunteers, and net proceeds go directly to great causes like Echo Food Bank!
